iTunes goes to "white screen" on iPhone 6 - have to re-boot to see my music

I just got my iPhone6 and put all of my old stuff from the iPhone5 on it.  Everything seems to be working OK except for iTunes..  when I use iTunes and try to switch from one screen to the other, the screen just goes white and locks up - I have to re-start the iPhone to get the music back.    Any ideas?
