OLED iTablet (Cheesy mockup included)

Ok, I got this idea after seeing all the cool transparent OLED displays on Minority Report, so it's not a Macworld prediction. More like a futurist prediction, because I can't imagine not doing this once TOLED is available.

The screen would simply fold down with the graphics inverting and a touch sensitive surface on the lid. For durability an additional lid might be nice (not included in mockup).

I'm a scientist, not a graphics professional, who did this mockup when I couldn't sleep last night. So please forgive it's cheesiness.

O.L.E.D. and any of its variation (Transparent and Flexible) is still on the process mass producing, though it probably will be on most devices in the next decades. So yes... Apple probably will make use of it when it's avaiable.

As for iBook in tablet mode.

It's very likely that the next revision of iBook would have a tablet mode.

Anyway. What I want to see is an iScroll using a F.O.L.E.D. It would be interesting to see a digital map in the form of a scroll. Got lost on the road? Grab your iScroll from your pocket and then pull its screen out, the screen then will show you your current position and a possible way to get you to your destination.

Kinda like this Universal Display concept.

From what i've read OLED screens are rather expensive, and not easy to manufacture yet. As a result they are small in size. I hope this changes soon....I'd love to have one in my face right now.
