anybody see the <a href="http://www.maccentral.com"; target="_blank">www.maccentral.com</a> article on the toshiba mp3 playah? using 2 or 5G removable drives, theyv made a comparable mp3 player. uses usb2 tho.



ne1 think this will indce a price drop from apple?

    That thing is pretty cool. We'll have to see what the battery life is like. I still don't think it can match the iPod. The iPod functions as a general storage device and contacts manager. We'll see.

    The Japanese Toshiba site says 18 hours for the Gigabeat. We all know the iPod gets more than 10 hours advertised. I played my iPod continuously once and it lasted 14 hours.
