The RDF generators are affecting you all.

I think I'm spotting a trend here:

1-4 months til an expo, everyone is open-minded. Someone submits a "tip" or "insider-info" and people discuss it intelligently, look for and find information that supports it, and generally try and explain the idea, if it has any merit.

Then a sort of paradigm-shift occurs from the 30 day mark up til the night before EXPO. It increases with intensity, until half the forum is accusing the other half of being a liar, rumor-mongerer, sh*thead, immature, whatever.....

Whereas a post would normally say "Wow, it would be great if Apple did that!" it now would say: "Member X" is a liar. He could never have info because of "Z". A rumor almost identical to his was seen on site "Q". I have compared ALL of his posts, and they are inconsistent. Besides, everyone knows that if Apple doesn't produce a "iGiveASh*t" to keep up with the "WinZ" they will go bankrupt faster than you can type USB2.

LOL GIVE ME A BREAK!

Could the RDF generators be scaling up and releasing excess energy that makes some of you a little too trigger happy? I see a new post like Lymph's and I think "Oh boy, they're gonna tear this poor guy to shreds!"

Let's face it, if a poster with a "tip" went so far as to post his scanned NDA, an Apple Employee badge, Chiat's new gizmo pictures, AND a picture of Steve Jobs napping in his office, he would be DE-PANTSED and ridiculed. Yeah, let me risk my career for that.

Everybody just needs to cool out.

My sources say that the RDF has affected other forums as well. I believe they are more reliable than your sources.

This may have some relevance to a lot of the threads in Future Hardware but it's content is not actually about said hardware.

As such, I'm moving this over to General Discussion.

Wow, I had no idea how much this thread would languish when it was over-moderated to this forum from Future Hardware (where people would have actually commented on it) The subject matter covered in this post BELONGED in future hardware. Please stop all future attempts to overmoderate my posts. Thank you, and have a nice day. (If you wanted to be a real gem, Jaime, you'd move it back where it belongs)

Actually I did read your post several times before deciding what to do with it. I had to in order to understand exactly what you were going on about.
