    You forget: rumor and speculation ARE part of journalism, according to ZD.



    Well, I see plain FUD and misinformation there regarding Quartz Extreme. QE WILL NOT tax systems any more than Quartz does. If anything, the gcc improvements will make everything faster, regardless of whether the system supports QE. *shrug* Idiots.



    Just about everything else is right, though.

    I caught that bit on QE myself, I think that it's wierd, but I'm sure that Apple didn't take the time to sit down and explain it to the likes of, well, anyone.
