45GB free on iPad 3, but can't download movie rental from iTunes

Any ideas on this? Not sure why it thinks there isn't enough storage.

 

I tried watching on a laptop, but it says we can't since it thinks we've watched it on an iOS device. Stuck watching on an iPad, but it doesn't work there.

    Ugh. nvm. Wife's iPad, and she showed me storage available, and it's iCloud storage, not on-board storage.
