anyone here ever build one of these puppies? i'm in the middle of working on one. i'll post pictures when it is done, of course.

    Yeah, built one. Just make sure you use aquarium silicon so that it's not toxic.

    Andy Ihnatko spoke at the Atlanta MUG and I found out that he is terribly, TERRIBLY aggrieved if people try to sell these things for profit.

    I modified the directions and build a mouse cage where my mice lived fow 2 years. Then I got some rats and they were too big for it.... Now I'm working on getting a 'networking' system setup between various Mac-cages which would allow a transport speed of 1 rat per second. Ideas on how to get this throughput?

    you probably are going to want to use a switch. a collision could get messy and i'm not sure a rat would understand a backoff algorithm
