Airport Time Capsule with iCloud Proxy / iCloud Server
There are currently two ways to Backup and Restore your iPhone, which is the most popular Apple devices.
Use iTunes, or iCloud.
iTunes Sucks. I haven't met a single user who would use it unless they absolutely have to.
iCloud kind of works, but it is slow, you need a reliable Internet connection, and its speed is also dependent on Apple's iCloud which means it will become slow at times. Especially after a new iPhone launch.
Downloading of new iOS update is also slow as well.
Mac OSX Server used to have a features to cache the App update, iOS update etc.
I wonder if anyone would be interested if your Airport Time Capsule, would download all the Apps update, Mac / iOS Update that an Apple ID have been registered with in, which would be useful in a Multi user environment.
I could also Backup my Phone via WiFi to the Time Capsule. It will then schedule the upload to iCloud Server at a late time. ( i.e When I am sleeping )
It could also act as an NAS, and allow me to choose what to backup to my iCloud Drive ( 1TB is only $9.99 / month ), or even better to allow App Development similar to Apple TV, it could use the Blackbaze to backup instead since it is only $0.005/GB / Month. 1TB would only cost $5.
Are there any interest in this? Or Am i the only one who has problem with both iTunes and iCloud.?

I'm hoping they're working on something like this. Updates to their networking equipment are long overdue. OS X Server does still have the Caching Server, but you need to be running that to have that service available. A solution like you proposed would be great, having a router, access point, backup location and caching server in one place would be fantastic and something I've wanted for a long time. Will it happen? Who knows.

Its nice to know there are at least someone else who like the product idea. Whether it will happen or not.
There may very well be many family now with over 5 - 6 Apple products. For those of us who have slow Internet connection, this will be a god send.
I have been looking up the caching services, while the marketing material state it will speed up iCloud, it doesn't seems to cache any iCloud Backup or Photos at all from the documents provided.
