Anyone think Apple will EVER come out with an iDVD? I would kill to get one. An ibook look stant alone portable DVD player with a nice 13-15 inch LCD and wireless remote (with standard buttons on the unit itself). Anyone got an opinion?
Uhhhhhh......doesn't Apple already sell laptops with drives that can read DVD? They even have S-video output so you could plug it into any TV to watch DVDs.
What, you want something that ONLY plays DVDs? Apple is a computer company, so forget it. Just buy a DVD player and run the output into an LCD, there's you iDVD.

As others have said to buy an iBook and to connect it to a 20+ inch TV is a much better idea.
