Twas the night before Mac World...

Twas the night before Mac World New York when all through the house (Javits)

Not a machine was stirring, not even a pro mouse;

The new G4?s were up on the stage with their new chips,

In hope that Steve soon would release them upon the customer requests.

The Mac fans were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of digital devices danced in their heads,

And Steve in his jeans and Phil in his button down

Had just settled down for a mid simmers nap

When out on the net there arose such a clatter,

Steve got pissed and assumed Time Canada was behind the matter.

Away to the net the Apple PR team flew like a flash,

They took down the pictures for a small sum of cash,

The New York moonlight on the eve of the show

Gave luster of RDF to the people attending the show

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miraculous G5, oh, I had to wipe a tear.

With a little case and Jonathan Ive design gleam,

I knew in a moment it would create speedy G5 steam.

More rapid than Intel?s the bakeoff was claimed,

The fans whistled and shouted and happily proclaimed;

Now faster and faster, still faster, INSANE!

Like a comet, an arrow, so fast, like a hurricane,

On top of the moment, on top of the world!

Now clap away, clap away, clap away all!!!

And then in a moment I heard from a few

The yelling and screaming, we want two!

As the screams were heard Steve smiled and said

I hope we can meet demand well see what we can do.

Steve was dressed in the usual turtleneck and jeans

The man is eccentric some people think hes lost his beans

A ridiculous amount of RDF he was spewing back

And he looked like a showman just about to crack

He spoke not a word, but knew it was good,

And filled all promises; then turned with a jerk,

And laying his hands one on the other,

And giving a nod, off the stage he strolled;

The crowd sprang to their feet, and happy as can be

And clapped they all did screaming, they called his name.

But I heard Steve exclaim, ere he strolled out of sight,

"HAPPY Mac World TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!"
