Safari crashing on iOS and Yosemite.

Hi. I've been following the crashing Safari wrote all day. Some sites are reporting that Apple has solved it. Not so. Here in Irleand (0.22am GMT) it remains unresolved. I use DuckDuckGo as my search engine. I have to knock Safari Suggestions off to stop it crashing. As soon as I turn it back on, Safari crashes. Tried Safari on a friend's MacBook earlier this evening. It kept crashing (I used the same iOS setting change to stop Safari crashing on his iPhone). Couldn't find a setting similar to one on IOS to stop it. Any simple ideas? I downloaded Firefox to let him use the Internet in the meantime (Safari could keep one tab open, thankfully). I see Stephen Troughton-Smith has posted a suggestion but I know nothing about using Terminal. Help, please.

    Hey, it's working again. Thank you, Apple. I've reactivated Safari Suggestions and no more crashes. I hope it's sorted for everyone else, too.
