Quick question -- application switcher on external monitor?

Hi. I have a quick question:

I started a new job at a small company and I'm using a Macbook Air hooked up to an external Samsung monitor. I'm using both screens, although I'm dragging most windows into the external monitor.

When I press Comand-Tab to see the application switcher, the application switcher appears on the Macbook screen, not the external monitor. I want to be able to see the application switcher on the external monitor. What do I need to do to make that happen? I know it's possible because I accidentally did it last week, but I have no idea what I did.

Thanks!

M

You can make the external monitor the main one if you go into the display settings in system preferences and drag the menu bar/white strip from one of the blue boxes to the other:

You can also mirror the display, which shows the same thing on each display.
