Video not playing

Hi, i am newbie here i have a problem in my apple 5c phone the video is not played that i download only play which is recorded by phone.
so please tell me how can i do and which player i can installed.

    iOS can only play a few video formats.  What format is the video that won't play?

    only play video recorded by phone or play HD or HQ other not play like 3gp, mp4.
