How to set language/country for spotlight news independent of iOS device language
Hi all,
if you ever wondered how to set the source for the iOS 9 spotlight news section in terms of language/country (not the individual news sources) then you may have found that this is by default determined by the iPhone's / iPad's language (settings-->general-->language®ion-->iPhone language). Now, if you would like to set the iOS device language to one language, such as English, but have the news coming from e.g. Germany (in German), then you can achieve this by going to settings-->general-->language®ion-->advanced. There you can disable the "automatic" toggle and set a language manually. This will determine the news source in terms of language/coutnry for the Spotlight news.

It looks like this tweak is not working anymore. At least, it is not for me. Not sure whether connected to 9.3 or maybe something connected to changes of the Siri backend. Anyway, now the country source for the spotlight news section is tied to the iPhone language. Pity.
