Smart move by Apple. This basically means that selling .Mac will be more profitable than selling the low end iMac and eMac. Boy I can hear the .Mac pitches being practiced right now :cool:

    Yeah I heard about that. I'll probably sign up with a reseller after the first year is up.

    not only that, but it will also pad apple's gross revenue.... the last couple of quaters their revenue has been below expectations of the market (but their profit has been dead on...) and this has been a big reason why their stock has dropped (in the past... before the execs sold all their stock )



    so im looking for higher revenues due to the subscription based .mac accounts... also, who knows what else it will lead to? maybe "preffered customer" status in apple stores? <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
