Why are the cache cleaning apps all removed from the iOS app store?

One of the biggest issues I've always had with iOS is with the lack of cache cleaning support and the reckless manner in which popular apps like Facebook and Instagram chew away disk space with no way to clean out the cache.  That's why I've always recommended people use cache cleaning devices like Battery Doctor and CM Cleaner or some other third party app that has high reviews and a reliable track record.

I also make sure to recommend backing up their iPhone before cleaning anything out.

However, I recently looked up cache cleaning apps in the iOS app store and they're all gone!  Not just one or two, but I can't find any of the dozens of options that used be be widely available!

It's one thing to not have a key disk space management tool built into the OS, but to remove any third party support for it is really terrible.  Has anyone else noticed the same thing?  Any reason as the why on earth Apple would suddenly not allow anyone to remove junk files and extra cache from their phones?  Thankfully I still have Battery Doctor saved on my phone, but this is extremely frustrating.
