Google Just Sold Boston Dynamic (Robotics Company) To Toyota

Google continues to divest itself of it's non-profitable divisions to get their focus back. Makes sense that Toyota should buy Boston Dynamic as they are betting big on robotics.

Other reports on this earlier today indicated Google considered BD a PR problem as the humanoid robots were looked on as creepy by too many folks. The researchers in that particular division also weren't as cooperative with the others on commercial projects. Toyota already has a humanoid robot project (Toyota Partner Robots) so Boston Dynamics should fit right in.  The other 6 Google robotics companies are continuing to develop commercially according to the news.

But Boston Dynamics isn't sold yet, at least no announcement of it.

But unless there are unknown reasons for it to not happen, it would make sense.
