Warchalking - Free Internet Access!
Basically, free internet access to anyone with an iBook/Powerbook and airport card and doesn't mind looking like a hobo with computer skills!
To explain... companies that have upgraded their internal networks to wireless to rid their offices of cable clutter, but in doing so have neglected to check if the network is "leaking" out of their buildings and onto the street.
Simply look out for the appropriate chalked symbols on your high street and fire up the 'ol laptop, check for available networks and you're away
