Separate CPU to handle Apple TV 4

I'm looking for advice on what you would say is the "minimum" requirement for a separate CPU and HDD set-up to run iTunes (movies) for Apple TV 4? I'm figuring on at least a 2TB HDD, but what model of Mac Mini (used)? Perhaps an old Macbook?
