I don't know if this is new, but it's worth mentioning. You can get between $50-600 towards a new computer depending on what you trade in. Here's how much you get for Macs...



Desktops:

G3s: $100

G4s: $500

any iMac: $250



Apple laptops:

166MHz-266MHz: $200

300-400: $300

500MHz or higher: $600



This is definately making me think about trading my iBook in since I'd get $600 towards a new computer.

    I'd sell it on ebay, I'm sure there is some mom out there wanting an ibook for her kid and 600 bucks is doable, heh I would even pay 600 bucks for an ibook...

    Well if I was going to sell it on eBay I'd want more money, but I'd rather not deal with eBay if I'm gunna get rid of the iBook.

    I would go toward eBay, I know my G4 is getting a bit old, but it's worth more than $500. I'd say my AGP G4/400 w/ Radeon and 704 megs of ram is worth, what? $800?
