Apple "Oopsed" again...
But in a "faster-than-light" fashion the copy on the Apple web site was changed after Apple got wind of <a href="http://www.theregus.com/content/28/25980.html" target="_blank">The Register's</a> satirical article appeared...Heh...ha...HA... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Artman,
Pretty funny. Using the same principle, I actually read your post before you typed it.
Really, Apple marketing must be a little embarrassed... <img src="graemlins/embarrassed.gif" border="0" alt="[Embarrassed]" /> <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
You are all clearly victims of the speed of light myth.
You see, light may have the same speed in wintel and PM boxes. But because of Altivec and the 2*2MB L3 cache light actually have a higher mass in the PM box and that can move it faster than any Wintel. And the four holes on the front focus the light escaping from the box so it go faster than anything the other side can offer. So even if light has the same speed no matter what the higher intensity of G4-light makes it go faster than a Wintel according to the Special Theory of Relativity
So don´t believe the bullshit PC nerds spew to defend their boxes.
"The souped-up processor speed gets an additional boost with an advanced cache memory architecture that provides ultrafast, dedicated memory with massively enhanced throughput."
Isn't much of a stretch, is it? Sounds like a good fiber diet to me... <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
