Some really good arguments in favor of the Note 7.
Especially the lack of fast charging (still??) and wireless charging (makes ditching the jack less problematic) is strange.

Except that I hate Android and will never use it

I guess they miss the memo when fast charging cause the battery explode and wireless charging are still far from usable.

Comparing the Note 7 to the iPhone is a bit of a mismatch, a better comparison would be the S7 Edge, which has the same size screen as the 7 Plus but is 17% lighter and has 16% more battery capacity.  In fact, the S7 Edge has a higher capacity battery than the Note 7.  The S7 Edge has fast charging that works fine.

    Cnocbui good point.

I bought the S7 because I'm working on virtual reality apps (Samsung Gear). I was surprised to see how fast the device charges in fast charge mode. Feels like Apple should have aimed for it considering they have it working on the 12 inch iPad Pro (but not the 9.7 I was told).

With the jack removed I hoped Apple also came up with some alternative charging solution, since watching video and charging is what I'm doing a lot.
