Yes, after only 1 install, I got open office to work. I was even able to import a .doc file and edit it, the transfer it back to my Windowz box and VOILA ... it works! Its running under X Darwin, which installs itself during the OpenOffice install. This is just yet ANOTHER reason APPLE RULES!! So now I have a Word,Excell,and PowerPoint emulater. MicroShaft can go suck a horses (bleep)!

    I got it installed a few months ago, and it only took me one try, though I never use it. I rarely need apps like that.
