Why is Met Opera not available for Apple TV?

Met Opera is an app that allows a subscriber to play any of the operas that are in the Metropolitan Opera streaming collection. There is an app for Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung Smart TVs and even on an Apple iPad, which can then be redirected via AirPlay to Apple TV. Why, however, is there no native app for Met Opera for Apple TV? If I can stream it from an iPad, you'd think is would be available?
