I've got two cheep ones (BackUPS Office 350 and BackUPS ES 500) and they are only good in an emergancy. If you live in an area with bad power(blackouts, brownouts, lightning) get a good one. Not nessiarly one with a long run time(if the power is going to be out more than five minuets, it's probly going to out for more than half an hour) but one with a quick responce time, and good power filtration like the BackUPS Pro Series. Otherwise, get a nice one that can pump out enough amps.
