In a job paper (vacature.com - but only in print, I guess), in an interview with Jobs, the man said that there is gonna be a Switch campaign throughout Europe in early 2003.

What do yea think? Will the adds be the same, or will they come up with something a little more sophisticated to satisfy the more sophisticated Europeans. (this is flame feed, I know). Anyway. Good news or bad.

On the same note, he affirmed that there are to be NO Apple stores in Europe whatsoever. Bad news or bad?

DEFINITELLY the campaigns have to be different here!!

Also they have to suit on each country's taste. maybe they will ask a french, uk and italian ad companies to do some adverts and then try to use those even in the other countries - e.g. i see no point on having a separate swich campain e.g. for norway or finland. on the other hand; germany, france, uk, spain and italy very very probably need something of their own .. and in those languages. the rest probably admire enough the uk or the usa switches.

wtf there are no apple stores here??

I see the italian version totally happening already: the little round iMac with it's flat panel turned horizontally upwards, and these macho Nesta/del pierro guys eating spaghetti off it, and then these Italian grrrls coming flirting around them. Reminds me of Axe deodorant actually. anyway. italy...
