Would Apple Buy Alias Wavefront?

I always found it odd that Steve Jobs owns Pixar, but makes no 3D software available on the Mac. Maya is now on the Mac looking for new clients and money. With Pixar and Alias Wavefront under one roof, what a powerhouse Apple computers would be. Why develop advanced hardware without a demanding software program to use it. Realtime effects for Final Cut Pro is not a major revolution of technology. Film quality special effects and 3D on a Mac computer is !!!
