.mov Windows Propaganda on G4 @ CompUSA
This evening, here in Indianapolis, I found a .mov that looked like a Quicktime file on a G4/Studio Display combo. When I played it, it looked like a 'Switch' ad, but it was about how there wasn't much SW for Macs; the usual WBS (Windows BS).
Happily, while I was there, the offending file found its way to to File Oblivion by way of the trash.

This may well be Ancient News, I've been busy. If it's not, and you've got time, then you might want to saunter over to your local CompUSA and see if the trash needs feeding.

It was an OS X Quicktime icon with something about 'Switch' in the title (I think). I clicked it, Quicktime launched and it ran for a few seconds before I began to ask myself what the sexual intercourse was going on here. As I sent it to the trash, I did see a '.mov' extension which was not apparent when I first opened the offensive thing.
It truly is insidious. If I were OS neutral and ignorant, I'd have been nodding my head, agreeing with the actor and would have moved on to a PC. And if I'd been motivated to check out a Mac because of a Switch ad, I'd have clicked that damned file.
