iBook to G4 via Newer

Why doesn't Newer looki into producing a G4 processor upgrade for the iBook instead of the Pismo?



I would imagine, the demand would be quite high. Is it because it's technically impossible, or do they just not want to piss off Apple?

    i believe the chip on the Pismo was on a daughter card, where as the processor in the iBook is integrated into the MB.



    impossible to upgrade the iBook then w/o taking out the whole MB.

    That's it: doable, but whether it's doable at a price anyone will want to pay, and reliably... I don't know...
