DHCP or other protocols over firewire (mac to/from pc)
I know that pc's can creat a LAN using firewire and run tcp/ip over firewire, but i want to do this with ibook and pc (pc has firewire card).
so far i have be able to make the firewire ports on the pc to host tcp/ip but how do i do this in my ibook? can macs do this?
here are the comps involved
ibook 600 dual usb, combo running jag
pc (amd1600+ w/ one onboard nic and one pci nic) winxp pro
they can share stuff now via smb (UTP) but havn't tried ot get them to communicate over Firewire.
anyone?
