Error: "DNS server not responding." How can I fix this error?

in General Discussion
My computer gets connected to the internet via WiFi (modem connected to the home broadband connection), for every 5 minutes it gets disconnected. I am not able to figure out what the problem is? I don't know whether the problem is with the ISP or my modem not transmitting packets, I do not know how to resolve this error :(

Try changing the DNS server. Plenty of guides on how to do that can be found round the internet.

I was looking more into finding a guide that shows an illustration of how the DNS server is set up applying router settings on Windows7, 8 and/or 10.

Hallo again Crowley. Well over the weekend i came across an article on the very same Domain-Name-System problem that i had asked for some assistance on. I know you mentioned that this was probably not the best place to ask, but i thought the article could be useful as a future reference.
