I'll sell you mine for $20. They're a decent size - you can fit a kid in it.

Sounds like a good deal. Doesn't look like the thing gets used much except for small humans and the such.
I looked there already. Couldn't find any for sale. (Did see them in a few photos on the site though). Regardless, shopping online there looks difficult and there's no IKEA store anywhere near me.
I picked up a few at the local Linens 'n' Things.

Thanks!
Just bought one online from them. Like $15.00 shipped. Looks just like the one in the Dock, too, I think. Now, I need other desk accessories and some picture frames that go with them. I need some frames for my 11x17 "Think Different" posters. Anyone have any suggestions?
That picture is a couple of months old. I had brought that PC home from the office, after we replaced it, to see if I could get it going. Thought I'd have a computer in the basement for guests to hop online or whatever. Spent an entire evening trying to revive the bastard, and I ended up completely destroying it with a hammer. The ENTIRE thing was reduced to a broken, twisted mass of plastic and metal. Let me tell you, it was a thing of beauty.
As for my daughter in the trash - what can I say, she's was 1 1/2 years old and thought it would be fun to sit in a trash can. Who am I to say otherwise? Maybe it WAS fun.
[quote]Is that how the kid was born? Did you drag the pregnant mother to the trash so that she could eject him/her?

HA HA... was just thinking of that "you know you're a Mac addict when..." thread. My wife is due again in a month, and I can just see myself blurting out, after 30 hours of labor "just reboot her and hold down the mouse." heh heh

Lets hope it's not stuck and you have to resort to the paper clip method...

Andor: [quote] How about you give it to me for $10 and I don't report you to the Department Social Services for putting your kid in the trash.

murbot's a canadian....i am not sure, but i don't think they have a dept of social services....it is pretty much "Anything Goes" up there in the canadian wilderness....
as for "ejecting" that next baby.....maybe mur should be checking for the latest firmware update to make sure...i heard that some of the latest, copy-protected babies don't eject properly and can cause damage to the "unit".... .....g

The real thing's mesh is a little more dense than the Dock's, but to me it looks better that way.
As for framing, well, there's always a craft store like Michael's that will have a frames department. There's also Target (pronounced like the French of course ) for cheap but fairly clean-looking frames. Though for custom framing, I would look at local businesses that specialize in that. I wouldn't trust some pimply-faced hs drop out behind the counter at Michael's for the really important stuff (if the Think Different posters are that important).

Really cool desks and stuff here. For the trash can try Peir One maybe.

Does the kid come with it for $20?
I'd pay $20 for it with the kid, $50 without.

It seems you've switched to PC, Murbot? Welcome to the winning team. hahaha...
No. That's a PowerComputing PowerTower... a Mac clone. Got one of those myself. Murbot's no traitor.
