Worth It?
My University is selling off-lease computers. These are all the details I know of (if it ain't there, I don't know).
Apple G3-350, 64mb Ram, 6G harddrive, internal zip drive, Apple display
16" viewable screen.
7 available at $250 each
Is it worth the $250?
I want another Mac to play around with for a few months and then sell (on ebay or something) after I upgrade it a bit.
I was told these were LCD displays, it doesn't sound like it though.

But if it is only for a few months, this should be ok

I expect you're right, viewable area normally refers to CRTs. I'd check the condition, perhaps people don't look after lease computers in the same way as their own.
I still work (occasionally) on a beige G3 @ 266 Mhz with only 4 GB of HD, and it still is quite allright. Hey, and with the screen included at that price, you can't miss. Do it now!
