Now Dell is selling iPods!?!

Apple is really pushing this thing. So much for spurring Mac sales, they've created a monster. I take this to mean 2 things: 1. the iPod is very popular and they want to milk it for all it's worth, and 2. this might point to a future direction they're looking at -- more peripherals and accessory-oriented than "the whole widget" thing.
Still, I am afraid that when it shows up on Dell's web page, the universe will be split asunder.

That's amazing. There are a ton of people I know who want an iPod and I'm sure it will show up on many Christmas lists.
Remember how disappointed people were when the iPod was launched (myself included)? People were calling it the next 'Cube'. Now even Dell is selling them. What has the world come to.
