hello,

I'm looking to add wireless Internet to my Powerbook G4. Although having the internal Airport card would be much easier in the long run, I've heard the Ti has reception issues. I don't want to sacrifice good reception for the convienence of an internal card. Just how bad is the reception in the PBG4?

What do u recommend?

thanks!

AirPort, you dont' have the card sticking out of your computer. I see people sliding notebooks in and out of thier backpacks like that and it scars me.

People say the Ti's reception isn't good because it's not as good as the iBook's reception, but anytime I've seen a Powerbook using Airport it's been fine. Definately go for the Airport card.

use it every day, different models, since they day they were on sale and it is not an issue--I'd like it to be stronger, but it is perfectly usable.
