Unlock with AppleWatch not working

Air keeps telling me I need the watch on my wrist and unlocked, which it is. Fails to set it up. Worked prior to updating.

    On your Mac, turn this feature off, reboot (for good measure), then re-enable this feature.  Make sure that your Watch is unlocked at the time.
