Fortunately they’ve been separating as much as they can. Safari 11 forcing tracking ads to stop tracking you is a massive blow to Google, despite Safari being only 5% of the market. That is, if you aren’t already just using an adblocker (uBlock Origin; use it), like you should’ve been since 2006 or so.
WHY Apple stopped making Safari for Windows I’ll never understand.
