Native OS X scanners?

I guess I have to return my HP 3500 scanner to Walmart I installed the cd and even downloaded the 200 mb file to update the software needed for Mac.

Nothing works!! Doesn't even start to scan...



Anyone have this scanner or know a good one for about $100 for OS X?

I'm thinking about buying the Canon LiDE 30...

Canon or Epson



They both have the OSX driver on their sites and they are relatively small



Epson's driver is beta but it works like "final". Haven't seen any problem.
