Upgrading from 8 Plus to X
My apologies if this has already been discussed, a quick glance through the first few pages missed any existing discussions.
While I love my 8 Plus, coming from a 6 Plus, I want the X. TouchID feels dated and a chore to use now that I know what FaceID offers, both in terms of authenticating and additional functionality by the camera array.
Is it a difficult process to make such a change outside of the normal return window? I figure I’ll resell my 8+ on eBay or whatever after getting the X. Does anyone know if Apple does a transfer on Apple Care, or a simple prorated return, and its purchased new on the X?
