Hi, I am trying to produce a desktop image for personal use while I wait for my powerbook to arrive.

Could anyone supply me with the font that Apple used for their Think Different Campaign.

(I think it was the same one they used until recently on the hardware, might be Apple Garamond?)

Thanks

Yes, the font is Apple Garamond. And no, that would be piracy.

But for a small fee, one could buy Adobe's Garamond Std Book Condensed ($29 if that is the only font you want, the entire Garamaond Std Condensed family is $129)

But AFAIK it isn't "Think Different" but actually "Think different." so if you use the former, I don't think there's any legal stuff involved.
