As a user of both Apple and wintel(work)machines, I found this to be laughable. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

Sad to see how he tries to deflate the campaign by attacking the people for what they look like. Of course, I do not find it entirely funny, because I too (and I would proclaim myself a die-hard mac fan) think the switch ad campaign is complete bullshit. However, my reservations might be of a more substantial level than those of this near-racist misantrope. For this is apparently what he is.

this 5 month old article has already been ripped by ai.

one comment i remember in particular was the irony of johnny remarking how uncomely these real people are, and how he is pretty ugly himself. also, the fact that he encourages users to refresh apple's page, instead of going to the switch section, to see each of the pics.

Not a bad article, it's generated a lot of hits for Dvorak, and we've all willingly obliged him, so now the add dollars can roll in freely. Job well done, I'd say.

John Dvorak is a whore. He used to work for MacUser, and his articles were mostly pro-mac. before and after his stint with macuser he wrote/writes for PC Magazine, where his articles are mostly anti-mac.

He'll fück anyone who pays him, basically.
