Anyone use "Internet Phone"

I have, on occasion, researched for a possible internet phone system to make domestic and international calls without paying. I haven't found any software that support MAC nor is it free. My friend told me he has been making calls via MSN Messenger and that the audio transmission is very good. I downloaded and installed MSN Messenger for OS 10.2 but it doesn't have the "Internet Phone" option. I know that because the third party system that MSN goes through, it only supports PeeCees. Are there or will there be any that I have missed? <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

I'm sure it would work using VPC but I've no desire to M$ my Mac so I'm looking for straight Mac OS solutions.

If you want to make calls from Mac to Mac only, try out Empower Pro Phone.

Another good computer-to-computer app for voice is <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=12225&db=mac"; target="_blank">Haxial's NetFone</a>. Though, this obviously isn't what you're looking for.



The only computer-to-phone app I've found for Mac OS X is <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=16520&db=mac"; target="_blank">Mac2Phone</a>. It has mixed reviews and is also a pay service to make calls to actual phones.
