Can USB carry enough signal to go to full screen with clarity?

well, they don't say on their website what compression they are using but I would say MPEG1 since they say 650MB = 1hr stardard quality, and "you can easily burn it to VCD using Toast..."
MPEG1 at "VCD" quality takes up about 1.5Mbps and USB has 12Mbps, so it should be fine....
looks like a cool product.
even though this looks like a VERY GOOD solution, I would wait a little while and see if mpeg4 can provide an even better solution
looks like a fun toy to play around with...anyone got $200 i can borrow?
That's a lot of space for a short amount of TV.
I'm still down with TiVo
slightly OT...
IIRC I have read that at higher file sizes MPEG-2 is better than MPEG-4. Is this true? Wouldn't a DVD full of MPEG-4 end up having better quality than one with MPEG-4? (same file size) I would think with the file size being the same, every new format would be better than the previous ones. In other words, wouldn't EyeTV be better off with MPEG-4 instead of MPEG-1?
