Edinburgh - the Maine of the north?

Not sure I can believe this story but it seems that Edinburgh is thinking about a £40 million pound scheme to provide ibooks for its pupils, following a visit by its education chief to Maine which he described as "inspirational". The scheme would be introduced by 2007 and would be just reward for the work put in by Apple's team in Scotland over the last year in very difficult circumstances.
