Best Wireless Mouse
My old 3 year old iBook's trackpad just died a few days ago. After hours of trying to fix it, and not wanting to spend the $220 to get a whole new one, I've been using a puck mouse for the last 2 days. Needless to say, I hate it. I'm thinking that the best way to go is a wireless optical one. I'll be able to use it almost anywhere and not worry about cords. Does anyone have any expierence with the current offerings, and can give me advice on which one too get?

The absolute best wireless mouse.

The only cordless mice I've seen that have the little USB thingie that just plugs right into the computer are that Kensington and a certain Targus mouse. Both have a 3 foot range - not great, but it should work for most stuff. I suppose there isn't anything that both has a tiny transmitter AND a long range...
hell even if you are using a desktop.... just plug it into the keyboard right next to where you would use the mouse...
<strong>I'm hovering between the <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=3&CONTENTID=4979&countryid=19&languag eid=1" target="_blank">Logitech Cordless Mouseman</a> and the <a href="http://www.kensington.com/html/1766.html" target="_blank">Kensington Pocketmouse Pro Wireless</a>.Does anyone know about their battery life?</strong><hr></blockquote>
I've got the Logitech and it lasts a long time. I don't even remember the last time I changed the batteries.
<strong>Has anyone used any of the Microsoft ones?</strong><hr></blockquote>
Yeah. Microsoft's wired mice are good, but I don't like the wireless ones. I don't really know why, I just didn't like the feel of them and the ones I used weren't as good as my Logitech.
