it has been fun watching Microsoft implode in slow motion over the last decade of multiple failures. They are returning now to their roots: writing mediocre software for Apple computers.
Oh brother are you right on.
You need to contact the writers of these articles to tell them about Microsoft's implosion and their inability to do anything but write "mediocre software for Apple computers." It appears they didn't get the memo.
Why is this being mocked? MS has 92 iPhone apps, 69 iPad apps, and 6 apps on the Mac App Store, not to mention all their other macOS apps. Why wouldn't MS want one of the most popular phones to be accessible on the most desktop OS? You bitch when they put they put their head in the sand, when their too slow to adopt to current trends, and then bitch again when they do something reasonable. :shakinghead:
Because after all the years of dealing with Windows in our careers, we would just like it to go away. Is that too much to ask?

There are most likely well over two billion Windows computer users (700 million Windows 10 users as of today, apparently) who don't share your opinion. Is it too much to ask to admit that the entire world doesn't necessarily revolve around your specific opinion concerning the OS they've chosen to use?

Because the requirement to install and use Edge is ridiculous. If Edge is a requirement then they’ve built it wrong.
I had a Windows phone that had two apps to display content on any web browser. One displayed just photos the other displayed whatever was on my screen. They were a bit slow but worked, until Microsoft dropped support for them. If this is something similar I will use it. It will be a good work tool.
