They did not carry the last one...Apple wouldn't let them. It's for Apple's benefit if everyone gets online. That way they can brag through a press release about how many people watched it in MPEG4.

Can Apple do that? Since they aren't in charge of the expo how can they?
The tuesday schedule is up at TechTV and no live broadcast indicated. Screen savers at 7 (and repeated at 10) lists "Macworld cool stuff". So for some of us on modem it looks like another "jerky" Quicktime broadcast (although switching to audio only will give you better audio without dropouts).
DirecTV is good. MUCH and MTV2 are actually good, then you get these little channels like TechTV.
I've seen the keynote on a modem before. Steve Jobs looks like a monster made out of Jell-O when the compression artifacts trail him as he walks around on stage!

We've got MTV2 and Cablevision is getting MUCH soon so that's not really a reason to switch
Like I said before, the main reason we're going to switch is to get MSG (for the 50 Mets games that are on the network, which by the way is owned by Cablevision and should be included in Basic Cable considering Time Warner includes it) and YES (for the Nets and if I wanna watch the Yanks). And of course DirecTV's cheaper so that makes it better too.

(They didn't broadcast Macworld NY last year).

Still no sign of them broadcasting it. And this sure was discouraging! A Jaguar demo? I sure hope not.

It's a basic channel for me now.

Yup, Jobs looks like his yin and yang keep banging into each other on a modem connection.
