Anyone use interactive Boards?
Second time of posting this - seems last effort was eaten
I realise we are probably way behind the US on this but we are starting to see more interactive boards coming into Education. My dept. has been allocated a SMART board but I've just found out that one of its features ( h/writing to text) isn't available on the Mac version. Does anyone know of an alternative board that would provide this? Failing that, is this not the area covered by inkwell?
I've emailed the company but no reply as yet.

I've only seen one though, so I can't help.
I'm in education and we are being given interactive (white)boards to play with as an educational tool. This basically involves computer, projector etc. but with the program being operated by touching the screen with your finger to highlight, move things around and many other similar operations.
My problem is that the make of board which is coming is SMART and they don't offer full functionality to Mac users ( the ability to write with finger on screen and turn instantly to text being one ) and I was merely asking if anyone knew of another different make of board which would offer us this. My last thought - possibly confused - is that I read somewhere about Inkwell technology being the ability to turn h/writing into text and was wondering why this company didn't utilise this feature.
If this isn't clear please don't get upset - I'm making as much sense as I can.
