How to write a simple app with videos (or gifs)

Hello,

I want to write a simple app with small videos for iPad. Basically, I just want a blank view with some videos. I just want to show it on the iPad.

As far as I understand, I can install Swift both on the Mac and on the iPad and then build an app quickly on the Mac and then show it on the iPad.
