Best High-End Laster Printers?

Our venerable Apple LaserWriter 16/xxx is slowing dying, after years and years (and over 750,000 pages). It is time to replace it.



I have approximately $3k to spend on a laser printer for a graduate student lab. Just wondering what printers you guys might be using in high traffic areas, and what you'd recommend.



edit: oh yeah, it's a networked laser printer, and Appletalk is optional.

    HP. I've seen the least amount of problems. Color...Techtronix. $3k should get you something really speedy Appletalk/Ethernet and Duplexing.
